UKCAT
The UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) is used in the selection process by a consortium of UK university Medical and Dental Schools. The test helps universities to make more informed choices from amongst the many highly-qualified applicants who apply for their medical and dental degree programmes.
OTC offers a one-day preparation course on the following dates:
Saturday 24th September
Saturday 22nd October
Course fee: £185
The course will give you practice in UKCAT past papers, looking at questions and discussing the best answers. You will learn the scores you might achieve in the UKCAT test and how to improve them. Advice will also be given for further ukcat practice and suggestions made for relevant revision topics.
About the tutor
Latoya van der Meer received her Master of Science by research in Medical Physics from Canterbury University, New Zealand where she also completed her undergraduate degrees in Physics and Mathematics. Latoya has extensive experience with the medical entrance tests and understanding of the attributes and qualities that top universities seek in candidates. She sat the UKCAT herself in 2010 and obtained an Oxford entrance score and thus possesses an excellent understanding of how best to study for the test. She is passionate about the medical applications in science, and eager to go the extra mile for students who are willing to work hard.
