TSA (Oxford)
The TSA (University of Oxford) is a pre-interview admissions test for applicants to undergraduate courses in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE), Economics and Management, Experimental Psychology and Psychology, Philosophy and Physiology (PPP) at the University of Oxford. The tests measure an applicant's critical thinking and problem solving skills.
The course will give you practice in TSA past papers, looking at questions and discussing the best answers. You will learn the scores you might achieve in the TSA test and how to improve them. Advice will also be given for further practice and suggestions made for relevant revision topics.
About the tutor
Christopher Barder studied at Cambridge where he won a Foundation Scholarship. After research, his
PGCE and classroom teaching, he became involved in tutoring, especially for A level and Oxbridge
entrance, nearly 30 years ago. He has taught Oxford and London University undergraduates and has also
tutored part time for Bath University. He has been an examiner in government and politics. He has
written a considerable number of articles, published in the UK, the US and Israel and a number of books,
as well as being associate editor of others; he continues to do research and to write. He has given radio
interviews and appeared once on television.
