ELAT
The ELAT is a pre-interview admissions test for applicants to undergraduate courses in English at the University of Oxford. The test is designed to enable applicants to show their ability in the key skill of close reading, paying attention to such elements as the language, imagery, allusion, syntax, form and structure of the passages set for comment.
OTC offers a one-day ELAT preparation course on the following dates:
Saturday 24th September
Saturday 22nd October
Course fee: £185
The course will give you practice in ELAT past papers, looking at ELAT sample questions and discussing the best answers. You will learn the scores you might achieve in the ELAT test and how to improve them. Advice will also be given for further practice and suggestions made for relevant ELAT revision topics.
