While most of our students take full-time A-level and GCSE courses at the college we are also very experienced at providing supplementary tuition to cover a range of different needs.
Our students come from a variety of backgrounds; what they share is a desire to learn - usually, but not always, because they want to achieve the best possible examination grades.
Students come to us for supplementary tuition for a number of reasons. They may have missed lessons through illness or have been disappointed by a poor result in a school examination. Those on A-level courses may have experienced difficulty in making the transition from GCSE. Others may need to ensure a particular grade to secure entry to a competitive course or require help in developing an elusive skill such as essay-writing or solving quadratic equations.
There are as many valid reasons for seeking help as there are students. Our experience, our flexibility and our commitment to an approach that is centred on your needs means that we can achieve remarkable results in a surprisingly short space of time.
Which Course?
We can help you with virtually any A-level or GCSE subject. We can also assist with other levels of teaching, for example Common Entrance preparation or undergraduate courses. Teaching is normally conducted on an individual basis. This allows the tutor to focus entirely on your specific needs.
Another advantage of individual tuition is that it enables us to offer a flexible course structure. Some students will simply need to see a tutor for an hour or so a week in the revision period before an important examination; others will require more tuition time - perhaps to include several subjects on an intensive programme over a half-term or summer holiday. Whatever your need may be, we can devise a course to help you achieve your goals.
